2017 Team Award Winners


     

AF SC CYSS Team Winner 2017 - In recognition of the Team’s outstanding contributions to Department of Defense Information Technology Environment in the design and implementation of transformational enterprise network services modernization initiatives supporting the U.S. Strategic Command’s priority to deter strategic attack on the United States, while serving the Air Force, DoD and coalition partners. These innovative solutions were instrumental in the successful delivery of the first 10-year integrated Air Force Joint Information Environment implementation plan. The team led the requirements development for Information Service Node/Information Processing Node, Cloud Hosted Enterprise Services, Common Computing Environment, Base Information Transport Infrastructure and Airborne Network Global Information Grid Interface aligning the Air Force to DoD Joint Information Environment initiatives. These exceptional accomplishments reflect great credit upon the Cyberspace Support Squadron Team, the U.S. Air Force Space Command, and the Department of Defense.
   
      Army Scorecard Team Winner 2017 - In recognition of the Team’s outstanding contributions to Department of Defense Information Technology Environment in leading the Army’s implementation of the DoD Cybersecurity Scorecard. The team’s efforts and accomplishments resulted in improved Federal Information Systems Management Act compliance and reporting, improved management of Army Program of Record systems and information, improved management of user accounts, and plans to remove unsupported legacy software. These achievements ultimately reduce the attack surface for cybersecurity related threats to Army systems. The team’s achievements led to further efforts that will synchronize key supporting databases to improve oversight of, and reduce the manpower and resources required to ensure the cybersecurity of Army systems. These exceptional accomplishments reflect great credit upon the Army Cybersecurity Scorecard Team, the U.S. Army, and the Department of Defense.
