2017 Team Award Winners


     

MPE Impl Warfighter Team Winner 2017 Team Lead - In recognition of the Team’s outstanding contributions to Department of Defense Information Technology Environment in the rapid development and deployment of a common mission network across five Combatant Commands for a critical operational need while laying the foundation for longer term Mission Partner Environment Information System materiel solutions. The team’s use of commercial virtual data center technology, integrated product teams, and agile development principles enabled accomplishment of objectives in greatly reduced time and lower cost. The team’s business case analysis supported the decision to execute a Mission Partner Environment Information System prototype expected to demonstrate cost savings of over $190 million. These exceptional accomplishments reflect great credit upon the Mission Partner Environment Implementation for the Warfighter/Multi-National Information Sharing Team, the Defense Information Systems Agency and the Department of Defense. .
   
      PACOM Multi Nat Sharing Team Winner 2017 - In recognition of the Team’s outstanding contributions to Department of Defense Information Technology Environment in the delivery of a resilient, defensible, scalable and responsive command and control Mission Partner Environment accessible by over 1,500 multi-enclave clients deployed worldwide. The team’s efforts resulted in the architectural design and delivery of dynamic and highly available information technology capabilities for information sharing, collaboration, and integrated command and control. The team enabled the U.S. Pacific Command information system capability to consolidate the infrastructure of 17 networks into one multi-enclave network, leveraging significant cost savings and management efficiencies. These exceptional accomplishments reflect great credit upon the U.S. Pacific Command Multi-National Information Sharing Team, U.S. Pacific Command, and the Department of Defense.
