Share with Mission Partners

Overview

Mission Partners The Mission Partner Environment (MPE) is a set of capabilities that enable DoD to execute its assigned
missions with external partners through timely and secure sharing of mission information. MPE is the top operational requirement from the Combatant Commanders and the #2 CIO priority.

DoD engages daily with a wide range of external mission partners and our mission success is often highly dependent on our ability to effectively share information and conduct operations with these partners.

MPE will help DoD extend its enterprise to improve information sharing with mission partners without added equipment, expensive investments, or additional expenses. It will also strengthen the Department’s ability to accommodate unanticipated partners and events in real time, and securely use commercial solutions where appropriate and feasible.
